Re: Blocking Users from IMAP and/or POP
I don't have a vesta installation to look at any more, but something like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP3wjsB07-0 Find the rules for POP3 and IMAP, and then SUSPEND them. Suspend as opposed to Delete, means you can bring them back again in the future if you need them. This will block all e...

Re: Blocking Users from IMAP and/or POP
So I was thinking it would be better to simply disable the POP and IMAP function from the server. maybe this would help to stop bots and hackers from attempting to gain access to the server. I can see in VestaCP that I can simply disable DOVECOT. Is that the best way to do this? Your process seems ...

Re: Problem Fail2Ban
I read elsewhere (sorry, can't recall where), that fail2ban had recently changed its service name. If it updated recently, it might be using
fail2ban-server.service, rather than fail2ban.service. This may have affected how Vesta sees the service.
Just a wild guess here, in case it helps ..

Re: HOW TO: RSPAMD integration
question should be changed condition = ${if eq{$acl_m1}{yes}{yes}{no}} from ${if exists {/etc/exim4/domains/$domain/antispam}{yes}{no}} I don't understand what you're asking. The config I posted works. In the first section it uses this condition to look for a file. If the file exists, it sets $acl_...

Re: HOW TO: RSPAMD integration
Replaced original email, as it might have been confusing. OK, so on Ubuntu, there is one key change to the original poster's config. In the check_rcpt section, you set a variable acl_m1 depending on whether a file exists for that domain: .ifdef RSPAMD warn set acl_m1 = no warn condition = ${if exist...

Re: HOW TO: RSPAMD integration
Thought I'd give this a go on a non-critical server. I'm on Ubuntu 18, rather than Centos, but the idea is the same. Followed your config, making adjustments for platform, and rspamd, redis and exim are all running happily. The only trouble is that rspamd doesn't seem to be chewing on any emails. I ...

Re: Error on /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue backup
I'm guessing the $VESTA environment variable isn't set to /usr/local/vesta/, which means it can't find the files to source. Check it as a logged in user with the command env , and look for VESTA=/user/local/vesta You can set it manually to test VESTA=/usr/local/vesta sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-my-c...

Re: Redirect Subdomain Without Changing URL
I'm supposing you have your reasons for doing this, rather than just moving the files into the subdomain public_html directory ... Two ways of doing it that I can think of. a) Remove subdomain public_html directory, and symlink it to the other place. eg. ls ~/web/ domain.com sub.domain.com cd sub.do...

Re: Deploy Laravel 6 into an user web
What does it say in your error logs?
For a 500 error, the first thing I'd do is check .htaccess for wrong paths, bad commands, apache modules referenced but not installed.
Your logs will guide you in this.

Re: Elegant solution for running a nodejs websocket server on VestaCP system
Sounds like you're looking at writing a service file which can be controlled by sysvinit (I think for Ubuntu 16) or systemd (I think for Ubuntu 18), so that you could run it with service mynodeserver start|stop|status or systemctl start|stop|status mynodeserver There will be examples around the inte...
