Dovecot announcement on future feature removals
Not sure if this affects VestaCP, but just posting it here to put it on everyone's radar Dovecot is now a nearly 20 year old product, and during that time it has accumulated many different features and plugins in its core repository. We are starting to gradually remove some of these parts, which are...

Re: Deploy Laravel 6 into an user web
This might help. Different framework, but I think the same solution, or similar enough to get you started.

Re: CodeIgniter and Vesta
OK, so here's what I'd do. Go to the template dir for apache, and make copies of the default templates. cd /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/apache2/ cp default.stpl codeigniter.stpl cp default.tpl codeigniter.tpl Now edit those templates so that the path is updated to the one codeigniter uses. Yo...

Re: CodeIgniter and Vesta
OK, so back to basics. What is your webserver setup? Are you using apache, nginx or apache with nginx proxy in front? I can't give specific instructions until I know that information.

Re: CodeIgniter and Vesta
Briefly - Create a new template with the new web root directory. (copy an existing one and rename it). - Put it into /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/apache and/or /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/nginx depending on which web server setup you're using. - Select it from the vesta web interface ...

IMPORTANT: Letsencrypt cert mass revocation
Letsencrypt will revoke 2.6% of its certs over the next 5 days, which may cause browser errors. You may check if your domain is affected here. Additionally, you should already have received an email from them. https://checkhost.unboundtest.com/ More info here https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/revo...

Re: Exim Filters
I believe you just have to define a file for them in /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template eg system_filter = /etc/exim4/system_filter Then put your commands in that file. Also replace tracker@localdelivery.com for a real email address you've set up on the vestacp server to receive all the mails. As long a...

Re: Lost access to VestaCP panel after using FTP client
Just a guess, but if access is restored after 'a couple of hours', could it be fail2ban blocking your ip address? Check in the fail2ban log.
If you have a static IP, you can also add it to fail2ban local.conf to whitelist it.

Roundcube Can't change mail password.
Hi, I've noticed several other threads on this topic going back to 2016, and have made sure everything suggested there is in place on my server. Specifically - I've checked that the plugins/password/drivers/vesta.php driver script contains the up to date function. - I've changed the server port from...
