Re: Specifying location of web folders and db storage?

I curently have /mnt/md0/html and /mnt/md0/mysql and those folders house my nginx website data and mysql data Well honestly, what you wrote doesn't make sense to me. VestaCP would create all sites under /home/<vesta-user> It will not use or account for any existing files in your mount point, so any...

Re: Specifying location of web folders and db storage?

Well, you should have mounted your raid partition as /home before installing vestacp... should have eased out the operation.

you can still backup /home and then delete it and mount /raidpartition to /home

Re: How to copy config to the new panel?

You will always have problems if you move MySQL storage like this. Best is as suggested, use VestaCP Backup You can use mysqldump command to dump your db's. There is a beautiful Customize Backup Script by Dpecca which may come in handy. you will still need to configure Users/DBs again in VestaCP but...

Re: Upload Vesta user backups to Dropbox automatically daily Topic is solved

Interesting... I never knew Dropbox increased their limit of single file size to be 20GB. Previously it was only 2GB per file.

Re: Error creating PostgreSQL database

Great if it works for you. I don't have hands-on experience with Postgres but I would suggest you to use & watch your system for a few days. Also check if the VestaCP backup scripts can successfully backup your DBs fine or not. If VestaCP is able to manage PGSQL DBs fine, please mark the topic s...

Re: Error creating PostgreSQL database

I guess VestaCP is not able to sense and configure the PostgreSQL that you installed separately. Maybe someone has an idea to make them talk with each other.

You should have done and Advanced install with PostgreSQL checked. (--postgresql yes)

Re: Remove .PHP extension in NGINX? Topic is solved

That's a mod_rewrite feature, nothing exactly to do with VestaCP. You can do this by editing your .htaccess RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1.php Very detailed instructions and discussion here, you must read and test the different settings discussed. Remove .php extension with .htaccess
