Re: Cannot open port from outside
A stupid reason, I was not able to access that port from my work PC due to corporate firewall rules (I don't know why they blocked it). From other machines everything works fine.

Re: Cannot open port from outside
We haven't yet magical sphere, so we cannot know where is your server and clients. So explain if all devices are placed on a single lan (same subnet?) or if server is behind a nat, dmz, different vlan, ecc... Or if the server is anywhere on internet with public IP (or natted) and all clients are in...

Re: added subdomain doesn't work
I found the reason.
I registered my main domain with 1and1 and use their name servers, so I just created a subdomain in domain admin panel and everything works now. I suppose another solution is to use own name servers.

Re: How create the corresponding A record
How to set up own Name Servers (vanity/private/child nameservers) If you want to manage DNS zones using Vesta Control Panel, you will have to create 2 dns records, point them to server IP address and use them as a nameservers for the domain. In this example, we will use ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.y...

Re: added subdomain doesn't work
ok, will ask it in a different way
What the files should I review to check the DNS settings for my subdomain?
Also do I need to use my own Name Servers? Currently I'm using 1&1 name servers

added subdomain doesn't work
Hi, I have troubles with my subdomain. I have a VPS server and Vesta CP on it. My maindomain.com works fine. I followed the next steps to add a subdomain "i.maindomain.com": 1). Created a new domain "i.maindomain.com" in Vesta > WEB 2). For "maindomain.com" I added A record "i" pointing to the serve...
