You can look in the install script how vestaCP is installing Exim. You can try to copy the Exim part and execute the steps manually.

Make sure you have a reverse ip entry (perhaps your Isp has to create one for you). Test with:
nslookup 111.222.333.444

--> should return a "Name"
Here's my nslookup:
nslookup 162.245.217.1xx

Due to stupidity, i did 'dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config by following one tutorial without further reading/research. And now i can't login to any mail account.

I installed Vestacp on Ubuntu 14.04 on VPS, set up multiple domain and all the website seems to running fine. Tried to setup email account on some domain, successfully send email but never received any email/reply
