Re: Two servers are hacked today via Vestacp
would you be so kind to explain how to do this under Ubuntu please?Messiah wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 8:25 amThe topic is a duplicate of

Please update or at least restrict access to VestaCP panel using vesta nginx config file. Changing default port is not a good solution.

Re: Additional FTP account not getting created
its pretty crazy this has been broken for a long time and never addressed. in over 2 years. Under Ubuntu same thing. After you figure out the path , it still does not restrict the path to X user created. It shows all the subfolders and also the permissions are messed up and you cannot edit, download...

how to move to https from http
Hi,
I have a vesta and my site runs on the public_http folder, what should I do in order to run the SSL ?
I know there is the public_https folder as well, should I move all my files there and then install the SSL certificate?
Is there a proper procedure for this?
Thank-you!

Re: Problems while connecting to the whois server on port 43
Try restarting the firewall under services tab. I had to do that on a fresh install or some ports wouldn't work properly.

Re: Re-install Vesta on Ubuntu
Hi,
I saw that post. But how would I save the backup on my PC and then uplaod it from there as well?
Assuming you wipe the server etc you wouldnt want to save the back up in the same server.

It's simple plan.
Or look at errors.
There is no correct way to reinstall all on working machine.
Could you please provide an example on how to backup userdate / config via SSH ?

vesta Web TemplateAPACHE2 phpfcgid
Looks like there is some internal server error (error 500) when you activate the phpfcgid template on a site. The error is triggered when you upload a file withing the website for example. I reads due to the mod_fcgid that is limiting request length to only 130kb . How can this be changed to an high...
