Re: Changed IP address, new server, cannot edit FTP account in CP (Parse Error)
Hi, A little update for you on this if anyone reads this. I just tried to add a new domain in the CP and the webserver went down. It seems that when the backup was restored, one of the domains in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf had the external IP address stored in this file, and not the internal one - when I...

Changed IP address, new server, cannot edit FTP account in CP (Parse Error)
Hi, My old server got corrupted due to the bug when creating an alias on a web domain. I had backups thankfully, so I bought a new server with new IP. The backups were restored OK, and I seem to have only one problem (so far!). On one of the domains, I am unable to access the FTP account, so I try t...

Re: User -> Rebuild Web ... domain paths lost, now just "It worked! Powered by VESTA"
Thanks for the reply. Bug fix was committed on 29 Jun, but I don't think it was in my vesta version then, and it is on auto update. This could be it anyways. As I stated before, restoring the vesta backups didn't work. For others who are looking for answer, my fix was (basic) ... Download backup. Ge...

Re: User -> Rebuild Web ... domain paths lost, now just "It worked! Powered by VESTA"
Thanks for the reply, it's a bit sad that just adding an alias has got me in a mess, and restoring from backups doesn't work.
I don't know what I'm doing so I won't mess with the backups. :-)
I really appreciate you reply though, thankyou very much.

Vesta Backups & server rebuild - have you done it?
Hi all, I have many backups created by Vesta downloaded and stored safely on local machine. I've got a lot of issues with my server, and my hoster allows a "Rebuild" back to the Vesta system that was supplied. Have you done this before? Did it go OK? Anything I should watch out for? Thanks in advanc...

User -> Rebuild Web ... domain paths lost, now just "It worked! Powered by VESTA"
Hi, I tried to ad an alias to one domain in the control panel. Something went wrong, and I was advised to "Rebuild Web" for the one (admin) user. All my websites now appear live with "It worked! Powered by VESTA" appearing, so it seems they're all pointing to some kind of holding page. My original p...

Restoring server - what next please? (possible bug?)
Hi, My problems began when I added an alias to a web domain through the CP, nothing more, I'm wondering if this is a possible bug? I thought I had a corrupt DNS entry, "named restart failed " ... and was advised to run "User > Rebuild Web" for all users. All my websites now appear live with "It work...
