Re: vesta-nginx-0.9.8-16.x86_64
Mine received a '502 Bad Gateway' error after I clicked update. But other than that, everything seems to be running okay, and the Release is shown as 16.

This part made me LOL.vlahonick wrote: Should we change our passwords?
Was there a security breach?
Should we be worried about our Vesta installations?
What has spamming on forums (which is very common btw) got to do with those?
[I didn't mean any offence]

Re: How clear access log and error log
I always do it like this, for example:
Don't know if there is any better way of achieving this, but it works.
Code: Select all
cat /dev/null > /var/log/exim/main.log

Re: Can't Send Emails
I guess the issue is: 550-5.7.1 message does not meet IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR records 1. You can try setting the proper PTR records for your IPv6 IP. 2. Or disable IPv6 from Exim, which I did and I assume most of us do. To disable IPv6 in Exim: Edit this file in SSH: nano /etc/exim/exi...

Re: Closed connection in response to initial connection
Well, I am no Linux expert by any means or know that many technical terms... I just know enough to get by, that's all :)
That said, I can confirm now that the issue was caused by SpamAssassin... the delay/connection issue went away as soon as I fully disabled SpamAssassin.

Re: Closed connection in response to initial connection
Okay problem is fixed now! Delivers instantly. What I did before reboot worked: I removed SpamAssassin once again from exim.conf and in VestaCP, removed AntiVirus Support and AntiSpam Support under Mail, they were both marked yes before. So the problem is either that or SpamAssassin which was causin...

Re: Closed connection in response to initial connection
SMTP TLS Warning - Does not support TLS. Sorry... when you tested on Mxtoolbox, I think I was trying something and then did a reboot. My Smtp is fine, here: http://i.imgur.com/4fYYpt1.png And why do you need to open 3306 and have 53 port closed? Don't know about port 53 (you checked when I did the ...

Re: Closed connection in response to initial connection
Did you check in exim.conf that the following is uncommented after uninstalling it? #SPAMASSASSIN = yes #SPAM_SCORE = 50 #CLAMD = yes Since I only uninstalled ClamAV, so I only commented the #CLAMD = yes part. But I also tried commenting all of it before posting here, just in case... no luck. Don't...

Re: Closed connection in response to initial connection
Hello :) comments in the area acl_check_spammers in exim.conf ... I wonder why the message "Your host in blacklist on this server." is appearing. Could this be a reason why the initial connection gets dropped? I wondered that myself. Anyway, by commenting acl_check_spammers still same result and her...
