Re: Vesta nginx.conf location help needed

I already found a possible cause, but didn't fix it yet. So lets close another security loophole. ;) As b...

Re: how to extract a database file only?
yes, use google with search query "extract 1 file from a tar archive". Plenty of answers to be found on stackexchange and stackoverflow. Or checkout: https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-uni ... fic-files/

yes
AH00015: Unable to open logs
usually has to do with your server having run out of diskspace. Removing a few backups from VestaCP backend usually does the trick.

Re: Website always down when doing some heavy stuff
There's several ways around this depending on the error you get and experience level you have. 1) You could try to increase your max timeout valeus in /etc/php/7.0/fpm/php.ini ... to then be able to import using phpmyadmin. 2) use https://www.ozerov.de/bigdump/ script. 3) use WXR file splitter: http...

500 internal server error are the worst to troubleshoot, unless you got server access ;-) and you probably do. Thus check your: /var/logs/nginx/domains /var/logs/apache2/domains otherwise you can spend weeks in a php and not get any further, while I simple glance at the error logs (can be done from ...
