Problems after Upgrading to 0.9.8-23
We have updated the security fix release to 0.9.8-23. First we did a ubuntu update (apt-get upgdate && apt-get upgrade). After that, the web server didn't work. So i removed apache and installed it again. Now we have the problem, that nginx (which is usually configured as proxy) and apache2.4 are ha...

SOLVED: SSH Service not running
Thanks for your reply. I thought, there would be a window within the vestacp gui to access to the console. But this is not the case. Kind regards. I have access. There was a fail2ban failure. But the vestacp didn't list any fail2ban adresses. Therefore I didn't find the solution first. But disabling...

SSH Service not running
Hi,
Is there a way to start the ssh service via vesta gui interface? we can't access via ssh to our server anymore? Login to cp is possible. But I don't see/find the CLI-Interface? Where do I have to look at?
Kind regards
Donat

Re: Backup ist looping somewhere and filling up my disk
Finally I have found the solution
There was a loop with let's encrypt with a domain. Now it is okay.
It would be nice to have a way, when backup-script has problems, not to fill up the hard disk and loop it again and again.

Backup ist looping somewhere and filling up my disk
Hi, I have the problem, that a specific user has the problem, that a requested backup-job will never end and then is filling up my disk space. I think, there is a problem with a cronjob, which is not setup correctly. This are my processes, concerning vesta during the problem: admin 21569 0.0 0.0 433...

Re: Docker Integration
Sorry for my late reply. I'm overbooked and I have unfortunately not any ressources to do that. In my case, some weeks there is some time left and on the other hand, some months are closed. So I'm not the secure tester and you can not calculate with my testing. Sorry.

Re: Docker Integration
Hi Jonathan
Wow, that sounds great
Since I'm not a programmer, I'm not able to help you, but I'm interested in the project and finally the product.
Kind regards,
donat

Docker Integration
Hi, are there any plans for docker integration?
I doesn't mean running vestacp inside a docker. The other way round: To launch Docker images straight from Vestacp without touching the command line.
Kind regards
Don

Virtual host configuration is gone
After upgrading from apache 2.2 to apache 2.4 we had several problems with the configuration files. Almost every night apache isn't restarting again (i guess there is a cron running?), there is a failure within a configuration file because there is an Include instead of an IncludeOptional somewhere....

Re: Update Issues from Wheezy to Jessie
I had finally luck! I had to change the Config-Files manually according to this documentation: Https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/upgrading.html And also changed in the /etc/apache2/apache2.conf file the line LockFile ${APACHE_LOCK_DIR}/accept.lock into Mutex sem and several "apt-get upgrade" it ...
