The bad thing here is the bad communication, not roadmap updated, not communication with the community.
we want know where the project are? take only 10 minutes to write one post.
Thanks for all VestaCP and try get updated the community.

Re: Statement and Goodbye
I really appreciate everyone who contributed to this project. Actually I also really want to, but unfortunately, I do not have that ability. As a user, we hope you keep supporting this project because we know you are the expert.
Re: Statement and Goodbye
Just wanted to add my thank you to both imperio and ScIT, and at the same time,
a big **** you to both
for being little cunts fighting about your tiny little projects like little kids fighting over an origami horse.
Seriously guys, bump UI refreshes until you make this a proper CP. You install either Vesta or Hestia and you get a wide open system if you have an IPv6. No firewall, no fail2ban for ipv6 - I have to manually get those going. Services listen and are able to serve ipv6 but vesta/hestia can't handle a AAAA record. Pathetic. External people got IPv6 going but you both are stuck measuring dicks. How adorable.
Once again, thanks so much for the effort you put in, it's incredible, but the development decisions are just so retarded. UI before function. Dafuk?! imperio you better get off your high horse and copy the damn source code from them, or beg them to come back and treat them like humans. Stop being a hoarding little bitch and cooperate to make this better for everyone. I'll never understand the duality of someone who releases source code under GPL fending off PR like they're kicks to the balls. Ugh.

Re: Statement and Goodbye
I can transcribe in a gentle-man vision @really 's feelings:
Sometimes the different "vision" makes it hard to build things, but it makes possible what would be harder in another way.
If possible to pass over the natural frustration, going ahead stronger, do it ^__^ .
We, the community, are not willing to see "personal" dispute, but improvements and love.
Think about all the low-budget projects that are alive thanks to your software ^__^.
Think about all the good things that are and will be possible thanks to your software...
We, users, don't know how facts truth stays, but if really for you it is possible to improve... ...why not?
To treat humans like humans should be natural. <3
Peace, love, and carry on good software!!! ;)

Re: Statement and Goodbye
i have been using vesta from a long time.. .my question is this vesta are you guys gonna abandon vestacp. i love this cp and wish to continue using it for years to come. please let us know. i dont know about the internal plans for vestacp, im just a far remote end user but none the less i like this this cp.
Re: Statement and Goodbye
I have been using Vesta Cp's service for 2 years. But I haven't been to the forum for a few reasons. Sadly, when I first entered the forum, you left again. I don't know who you are, but reading the shared lines and comments from people, I see that everyone loves you very much. Thank you for your contributions to the forum. Wishing you every success in your life !
Re: Statement and Goodbye
For 5 years I installed your panel about 10 times on various vps. I like it, But...
Unfortunately, for a very long time, in addition to the rare lines on the forum that some kind of virtual work is underway, there is nothing more in reality. And this is an indicator. I think the project is dead. Spend only 1 day, or even 1 hour to write officially, or remove security concerns ...
And talking about financing is a myth. More than 1 year of silence passed without updates.
Personally, I go to other panels. Installing Vesta CP is now unsafe and requires the installation of obsolete OS.
Bye. Thanks for CP.

Re: Statement and Goodbye
Hi!
I don't know anything about what's being talked about here and I'm not interested in it either. Just to say that I will continue to work with Vesta CP and hope for all that it can bring me.
Courage!

Re: Statement and Goodbye
Check www.myvestacp.com - it's most secured hosting panel I ever seen.
I mentioned that fork in this topic.
It's simple.
If you want to stay close to VestaCP official - as much as it's possible - use myVesta - it's dpeca's fork - a guy that still commit security fixes to official vesta.
At least myVesta is under active development and has security fixes.
Useful if you don't want to convert Vesta to Hestia.
But, if you start new server from scratch - give a try to www.HestiaCP.com
It has more developers than myVesta.

Code: Select all

ip6tables -F
ip6tables -A INPUT -p tcp -j DROP
