Disk size after VPS upgrade
Disk size after VPS upgrade
Hi,
I have installed vesta for some time on a vps with 10GB space, then I upgrade my VPS be 20GB, but the information remains listed server disk size 10GB (/ dev / vda1).
how to make vesta detect the disk size according to the capacity of my vps? ( 21.5GB - same as Disk /dev/vda)?
Thanks.

Re: Disk size after VPS upgrade
I think you need to expand OS filesystem
Re: Disk size after VPS upgrade
Try in console and show us output:
PS: OS? VPS virtualisation?
Code: Select all
/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-list-sys-disk-status
Code: Select all
df -h
Code: Select all
fdisk -l

Well, Vesta info don't wrong, you have 10GB space and additional disk 20Gb, but it's unmounted... Hard drive size was not increased.kevalva wrote: The following screenshot I took after giving command as instructed in my vps.

Re: Disk size after VPS upgrade
you have to boot from gparted live CD (if you are on KVM VPS) and use it to expand your OS partition. Backup your VPS Data before doing this
