User -> Rebuild Web ... domain paths lost, now just "It worked! Powered by VESTA"
Hi,
I tried to ad an alias to one domain in the control panel.
Something went wrong, and I was advised to "Rebuild Web" for the one (admin) user.
All my websites now appear live with "It worked! Powered by VESTA" appearing, so it seems they're all pointing to some kind of holding page.
My original paths and files all seem to be there though under admin directory.
I have tried a restore from backup, but nothing changes, so I think it's more of a config problem in Vesta?
Any help would be appreciated on how I could solve this.
Thanks in advance. :-)
Dale.

Unfortunately I have faced the exact same problem with the last version 0.9.8-16. However, restore from backups worked ok. If not, try to untar the corresponding backup file and make the changes manually (mess only if you know what you are doing).

Thanks for the reply, it's a bit sad that just adding an alias has got me in a mess, and restoring from backups doesn't work.
I don't know what I'm doing so I won't mess with the backups. :-)
I really appreciate you reply though, thankyou very much.

Thanks for the reply.
Bug fix was committed on 29 Jun, but I don't think it was in my vesta version then, and it is on auto update.
This could be it anyways.
As I stated before, restoring the vesta backups didn't work.
For others who are looking for answer, my fix was (basic) ...
Download backup.
Get a new server.
Upload backup to new server and restore.
There may have been more technical solutions, but to be honest, my whole server was down, and this was the quickest thing to do to get it going again.
