FTP backup results in empty tar files
Hi!
I'm using a different server than the Vesta server to keep track of all my backups, and earlier today I added the FTP backup option in Vesta, and it works and connects to the backup-server, but all the tar files on the backup-server are empty, but not the local tar files.
Any idea why this happens and how I can fix it?

Re: FTP backup results in empty tar files
Are there any errors in /usr/local/vesta/log/backup.log ?

No errors, but all my tar files are empty
Not the ones saved local, only the ones externally

Re: FTP backup results in empty tar files
configure in your firewall to accept the range of passive ports that the ftp server is using(TCP). that solves this problem.peterbrinck wrote:Hi!
