Domain creation error/cleanup

Hi,

I have searched around but I guess the inteweb gods are keeping the information I seek away.

I have ubuntu with Vesta running a couple of different accounts and domains. I recently created another user account and domain with e-mail addresses ready to host email. While waiting for DNS records to update (web traffic to one server and email traffic to this server). After the DNS update I tried a e-mail client and it was bouncing back errors. After trying 3 addresses on that domain all failing I tried the login details with webmail only to be given a "connection to server storage failed" in the location webmail would report "login failed".

Webmail has no problems with other addresses on other domains

Deleted the problem user/domain, restarted server and setup same user, same domain, same addresses again. Still with failure.

So thinking this could be a update issue I created another new user, new domain, new address and webmail works fine.

Deleted the problem user/domain again and created a new user, same domain, same address. Still with failure.

So I appear to have a problem with Vesta and this particular domain. How do i go about cleaning this up?

Well. it looks like the issue might have been caused by choosing a numeric user name for the vesta account.

Thanks for the help!
