We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.
adding ssl certificate to vestacp main panel
adding ssl certificate to vestacp main panel
I've followed the instructions on this post viewtopic.php?t=10608, and when I navigate to Server->Vesta SSL I see that the certificate is loaded correctly:
But I can only enter to my CP if I disable ssl. If I enabled it back, I get an error about the browser not being able to verify the identity, with no possibility to carry on.
I enable and disable SSL for the CP by editing /usr/local/vesta/nginx/conf/nginx.conf. If I don't disable SSL, I can't access my.domain:8083 at all.
For the same domain, VistaCP native letsencrypt support works as advertised, and I can go to the webpage and access it through SSL no problem.
Is there any other step I'm missing? The browser reports that no encryption is taking place at all... :(
