504 when activating iptables
504 when activating iptables
Today I encountered a weird bug: When I activate iptables in the cp, I get a 504 nginx error while trying to access my cp. Also when I enter I get a timeout.
Only a rollback (and not turning iptables on again) managed to solve this problem.
OS is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. If you need more info or specific files, just ask.
Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong?
Code: Select all
sudo ufw status

Re: 504 when activating iptables
Okay I found the error: In Vestas default configuration there is only a firewall rule for :8083 TCP but Vesta also needs :8083 UDP. When you add it in manually it works.
