We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.

I'm Appreciating @grayfolk
Re: Statement and Goodbye
At this point in time, I still love and would be sticking with Vestacp, You guys are awesome and the thing is, we are human and we won't always agree with ourselves. Let's try to understand ourselves, please.
One request I want to make is that, could you add like a donation button where users could donate, I really wanna see this project move forward.
Thanks for the good work!

Re: Statement and Goodbye
I too am concerned about the activity of this panel. Changelog shows it was last updated in April. I love VestaCP and my only concern is if this project still has any activity. I need some peace of mind, that's all.

What concerns me is that very soon after an enormous security hack that almost destroyed everything, we for almost 12 months now have seen no updates? Prior to that we were seeing 2 per year.
That is not a good indicator of regular activity from the developers.

Developers are busy. As i understand this is just a hobby for developers.adamjedgar wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 9:28 pmWhat concerns me is that very soon after an enormous security hack that almost destroyed everything, we for almost 12 months now have seen no updates? Anyway, Vesta are Opensource project, anyone can fork it and continue development with regular updates.
Re: Statement and Goodbye
According to imperio, he said the project isn't abandoned, quoting him:
"Now we are rewriting the front-end interface of the panel. Front-end of FM already done. Also, we are working under support of CentOS 8 & Debian 10"
So you can have a peace of mind now ;)

Yes, you are right, but we are working on a project. The project continues to develop, but not at the pace we would like.Developers are busy. As i understand this is just a hobby for developers.
