500 Errors for All Sites
  • Quote

Post by abagshaw » Sat Oct 25, 2014 5:22 pm

I have tried re-installing multiple times on different distributions. But I can't get any sites for Vesta CP to run on my RamNode VPS. I can log in fine to Vesta CP but when I try to access one of my sites (lcc-preview.tk) it takes a few minutes and then displays "lcc-preview.tk
500
Internal Server Error
Sorry, something went wrong :( "

The log from vesta shows: 2014/10/25 13:15:45 [error] 5819#0: *3 connect() failed (110: Connection timed out) while connecting to upstream, client: 207.34.151.215, server: lcc-preview.tk, request: "GET / HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://107.191.106.181:8080/", host: "lcc-preview.tk"

I haven't even uploaded anything to my site. This is just a clean installation. Any ideas?

One weird thing I had during installation is Vesta said that httpd and bind9 were already installed. I forced the installation and it went fine from there.

Thanks!

CentOS 6 64bit.

I tried with just about every CentOS distro offered by RamNode that's supported by Vesta.

I tried:

CentOS 6 32bit
CentOS 5 64bit
CentOS 5 32bit

Fixed! Thank you so much! I'm not exactly sure what that did, but I stopped it, started it and now I can access my site. Thanks again!
