How do I disable direct IP access?

Post by eddynetweb » Tue Jun 24, 2014 3:50 pm

When I access my direct server IP, I connect to my website. However, I would like this not to be possible. How do I block direct IP access vía my server, so they get a forbidden error, or a error of some sort.

When I access my direct server IP, I connect to my website
its normal for apache
by default, you can see a domain which is the first in the apache config
you can create any default domain, and make it first in the configuration file of apache (editing virtual hosts in apache.conf or httpd.conf)

Code: Select all

/home/user/conf/web/
