http2 on port 8083 ?
hello guyzzzzzz ,
do you think to implement "http2" for nginx listening on 8083?
I am able to add SSL certificate but not actiavated "http2" protocol.
here's the error I got when I added "listen 8083 ssl http2" in config file /usr/local/vesta/nginx/conf/nginx.conf
thx you ,

Code: Select all

Stopping vesta-nginx: [ OK ]
Stopping vesta-php: [ OK ]
Starting vesta-nginx: nginx: [emerg] the "http2" parameter requires ngx_http_v2_module in /usr/local/vesta/nginx/conf/nginx.conf:81
[FAILED]
thx you ,
Re: http2 on port 8083 ?
You not have http2 module installed if you get that warning.

But, on the other hand, all vhosts running on that server has ngx_mod_http2 activated.
It seems that vesta runs under its own configuration files.
Re: http2 on port 8083 ?
Code: Select all
/usr/local/vesta/nginx/sbin/vesta-nginx -V
nginx version: nginx/1.9.6
built by gcc 4.9.2 (Debian 4.9.2-10)
built with OpenSSL 1.0.1k 8 Jan 2015 (running with OpenSSL 1.0.1t 3 May 2016)
TLS SNI support enabled
configure arguments: --prefix=/usr/local/vesta/nginx --with-http_ssl_module
Can you pls tell why you need http2 in CP? Control Panel will be faster or slow now for you?

I did try http2 and there is no such incredible performance. I doubt, Vesta is already fast ;-)
