Firewall - what am I doing wrong?
Firewall - what am I doing wrong?
Hi,
I'm trying to work out why I can't connect to port 8181 (my custom Apache install I setup). I didn't want it linked into Vesta as such, so I used the nginx + php-fpm version, and then added Apache2.4 with apt-get
Anyway, I'm trying to work out why I can't proxy_pass to it.
The problem seems to be coming from connecting to 8181 though. Although I can see the firewall rule, nothing seems to get through:
I just get:

The config is pretty simple:netstat -an | grep 8181 | grep -i listen
tcp6 0 0 :::8181 :::* LISTEN
Code: Select all
location ~ \.cgi$ {
try_files $uri =404;
gzip off;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header Host $host;
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8181;
}
Code: Select all
lynx http://localhost:8181
Any other ideas? It almost looks like that rule is going out on an ipv6, not ipv4? Not sure why it would be though, as I have it setup as:Alert!: Unexpected network read error; connection aborted.
Thanks in advanceACCEPT
