stop URL Rewrte
I had a site in Vesta:
www.MyWebpage.com.au
While developing a new version of this site, I created the new version at
www.NewWebpage.com.au
When I was finished I deleted www.MyWebpage.com.au from the Vesta Web section and added in an Aliases for www.MyWebpage.com.au IN www.NewWebpage.com.au.
However whenever I visited www.MyWebpage.com.au it would URL Rewrite www.NewWebpage.com.au which I did not want.
So I deleted the alias and created a new webpage www.MyWebpage.com.au... and copied the files across.
However ever since I created the alias, no matter what I have done it still URL Rewrites www.NewWebpage.com.au whenever I visit www.MyWebpage.com.au.
I have since deleted all records (in Vesta) in Web and DNS but the URL Rewrite still exists.. where would this data be persisting?

Re: stop URL Rewrte
Rewrite is maybe a cache problem in your browser: Try it on another client or browser where you never have visited your site or switch to incognito mode.

Take a look at your DNS and see what is the TTL set on each record. Then wait for that TTL to fully propagate.
Also try opening site in incognito/private mode to avoid any cache problems as suggested by ScIT. If this works, clear your browser cache and try again

Re: stop URL Rewrte
It's definitely not a (local) cache issue. As a web Developer I clear my cache regularly.
I also tried in a different browser to be sure.
Changes were made 24hours ago and TTL is 14400... Still no effect :(

Something definitely wrong with vhost you've setup... the domains are mixing up. Can you PM me your actual domain names so I can check them ?

Re: stop URL Rewrte
Thanks to mehargags for solving this one for me.
The issue was just in Wordpress site settings, not in the Vesta Control panel and domain settings.
All fixed now :)
