Host websites as vesta
Host websites as vesta
Hello, I'm running a dedi and one website. I want to host more websites from the home folder, but without installing vestacp.
How does vestacp config work?
ex.
/home/domain1.com/public_html
/home/domain2.com/public_html
I do not want reinstall my system to install vestacp, for if there is a work-around please guide me.

Re: Host websites as vesta
The simplest way u can think to do this is to make backup copies of your existing public html directories for the virtual hosts you have already setup.
Delete everything of your dedicated server...ie reformat it's drive.
Start from scratch...It's the only way. I don't know of any control panels that will work on a system that has already been "played with"
Once you have setup the system from scratch, install vestacp, create your new virtual hosts (ie client domains), then upload backup files to the appropriate client domains.
Once you done this once...everything can be managed from Vestacp.
