Why Exim instead of Postfix?
Why Exim instead of Postfix?
Hello,
I'm interested in moving from ISPconfig to VestaCP, but I have one question.
I'm experienced in postfix, I've looked on the internet about postfix vs. exim and most people choosing postfix.
I've seen that You support only exim. Can you describe me, why have you chosen it?
I would be very grateful.

Re: Why Exim instead of Postfix?
I too would like to know this.
There is a lot of spam filtering that you can do with postfix itself i.e. postscreen with its pregreet, weighted RBL, and effective greylisting (deep protocol) tests.
I'd love to remove exim and put postifx back on (Centos 7.2) but I'm worried it'd break other features of the control panel.
Other than that the control panel is great, just a few tweaks (remembering sorting by name not date) and it'd be perfect and light weight.
