Mail failure - malformed recipient address
Mail failure - malformed recipient address
I regularly receive the following error email:
After researching on this subject, I found this post that refers to:
In my case this file is empty, could it be the reason of the errors?
Is this email sent by the VestaCP ? If that is the case, I don't understand why it would be unable to connect to the MySQL server: the VestaCP works and it could not without being able to connect to a MySQL server. Or does it?A message that you sent contained one or more recipient addresses that were
incorrectly constructed:
< >: missing or malformed local part
This address has been ignored. There were no other addresses in your
message, and so no attempt at delivery was possible.

Your mysql service work fine?starter wrote:In my case this file is empty, could it be the reason of the errors?
Which OS do you use?
Re: Mail failure - malformed recipient address
I no longer receive this error message; it stopped - maybe - after I upsized the VPS. Until that moment Vesta was running on a very small configuration, with only 512 MB of RAM.

Thanks for report, starter
