Is it Possible to Config Exim using Proxmox-Mail-Gateway
I wondering to config all mail in exim config to using Promox Mail Gateway
For Spam&Virus filters all incoming and outgoing?

Currently i was doing a lab for this email server for a better spam & Malware filters.
I like the feature management of Proxmox Mail Gateway And it's seem better than default
Exim Mail server from Vestacp as default. It has a management feature such as log. In/Out
Virus/Mulware Detect or Block. You can event defind a rule for fillter easier than config exim.conf
Thus i want to ...
All Incoming email go to proxmox mail gateway then go vestacp mailserver
All Outgoing email go to proxmox mail gateway then go internet to destination.
Is anyone trying this solution before??
Or else anyone want to do this lab with me??
I think this is a interesting solution.

Wow, I had no idea Proxmox was making their Proxmox Mail Gateway back in 2015. For some reason I thought they just released it a couple years ago. Actually looking at the changelog I think they made it back in 2005!
Did you or anyone out there ever try this?
I just don't know enough about exactly how email works, but in my mind the Proxmox mail gateway might be a way to scan all inbound emails for spam etc. and then forward them to my VestaCP server, and visa versa scan the outbound emails sent from VestaCP and maybe prevent outgoing spam.
I've been trying all evening to get the Proxmox Mail Server set up and working so I can test it and understand it, but I keep getting stuck along the way.
I was not able to have emails pass thru to VestaCP, but I was able to send a few using a basic postfix SMTP server I set up for testing.
Currently I'm seeing messages about status=bounced host said: 550 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (in reply to RCPT TO command)) and I can't wrap my head around why it is failing and how to make it work.
Ultimately I want to use it in conjunction with VestaCP, anyone else?
