Inbox missing after reloading dovecot

Hey Guys,
I tried the following command to reload dovecot: systemctl reload dovecot, to sort out the issue I'm having with POP3 on Gmail. The issue has been fixed, however, when I logged in on roundcube to check my emails - they were all gone. My inbox have become totally empty.
here's the content for /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf
I tried logging in with other user's email account (on a different domain) and it appears their inbox aren't empty. I've also tried sending a new test email to the same account but it isn't showing up on roundcube. The email, however, is pulled on my Gmail account. Previously, the email should also be showing up on roundcube.
If you guys could help me sort this out, that would be really awesome! Thank you! :)
