We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.
Vesta - DNS in Master > Slave > Slave mode
Vesta - DNS in Master > Slave > Slave mode
I managed to configure Vesta DNS with a Master and Slave Concept, e.g webserver01.domain.com -> ns1.domain.com
This setup is working fine and has no problems.
Now i want to setup ns2.domain.com, so after installing Vesta, i run v-add-remote-dns-host ns1.domain.com
Firstly it doesnt sync because all the domains are parked under dns-cluster. I got it to work by editing v-sync-dns-cluster (steps can be found at https://jefferytay.wordpress.com/2015/0 ... rol-panel/)
Now although the manual sync work, the automated sync doesnt run, presumably because again of the dns-cluster. Other than setting the cron job to run v-sync-dns-cluster, is there any way to modify any file or setting so that ns1.domain.com is able to synchronize to ns2.domain.com?

Re: Vesta - DNS in Master > Slave > Slave mode
Do you setup a cron job?
