Hello All,
My question of the day with VestaCP SQL Server.

Is it possible to access SQL Remotely from the VestaCP Server?
If so? how can i go about setting it up locally?

Do you want to access a database created by Vesta or do you want to add another MySQL server to Vesta?

Both are possible, the database created by Vesta isn't only local connections. You should be able to connect using your servers IP.

And if you want to add a remote MySQL server, just follow the Vesta docs:

Peterbrinck,

Thank you for the reply!
I am looking towards having 2 Vesta CP Web-servers, and one Vesta CP to manage MySQL Databases,

The Vesta CP i am wanting to store all of the MySQL Files i would like to be able to open firewall ports and allow the web-servers to connect to this server

What firewall ports does VestaCP use for SQL?
