I opened a ticket with Softaculous asking them when they are including support for VestaCP. They advised they are launching this capability around August 15th. My initial question to them was the licensing costs for either custom cpanel or remote install capability. Very much looking forward to being able to use Softaculous with VestaCP. I do like Vesta Automatic App Installer [Version 1.0.2] found on this forum for WordPress installs but Softaculous would be so much better with backup and latest version integrations.

jakepatrick wrote:You can integrate softaculous right now using the remote installer, no need for vesta to integrate it into their panel and definitely NEVER take any examples from CPanel.

Doing this would wipe out the existing database, right? So can't coexist with Vesta?
