Imho everybody's just bitching and whining because they want the latest version. There's no reason concerning security, stability, or functionality that makes running 7 a vital must-have. CentOS 6 is stable, actively supported and EOL will be in another 6 years. The Vesta guys will obviously release their control panel for 7, give them some time for it.

I am trying to install VestaCP on CentOS7 and I have forked the github repository and created a centos7 branch :

My modifications for now are minor since I have added epel and remi repository inside vst-install-rhel.sh :
if [ "$release" -eq '7' ]; then
epel="7/$arch/e/epel-release-7-2.noarch.rpm"
fi
if [ "$release" -eq '7' ]; then
remi="remi-release-7.rpm"
fi
then I have replaced mysql and mysql-server by mariadb-server because on centos7 the have moved to mariadb.
I will also remove webalizer because this package doesn't exist and from what I understand has been replaced by awstats
now when I try it I get the following error :
---> Package vesta-nginx.x86_64 0:0.9.8-3 will be installed
--> Processing Dependency: libpcre.so.0()(64bit) for package: vesta-nginx-0.9.8-3.x86_64
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: vesta-nginx-0.9.8-3.x86_64 (vesta)
Requires: libpcre.so.0()(64bit)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
Error: yum install failed
I have checked and on my centos7 I only have libpcre.so.1 :

I just want to know that if I install centos 7 and then vestacp works in the home of vestacp says no support for centos 7, but in the roadmap says that if I do ?

is there any way to help you with the CentOS 7 support?
I set up CentOS 7 because of long-term support on my server and wanted to use VestaCP.
I read in version history it would be supported, but obviously the installer isn't done yet.
I'm waiting for an update since a week now, could you provide any information on the progress?
I need to know if I should wait a little more or just use another CP.
Also is it just the installer? If thats the only thing left I could try to install it manually.
Looking forward to your answer.
