Unable to restore Backup after migration
Unable to restore Backup after migration
Whenever I try to run the backup tar file on the new server.
I am getting this error
v-restore-user admin admin.2017-04-04.tar
tar: ./pam: Not found in archive
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
Error: can't unpack PAM contaner
Please please somebody help me.
I am not even manually decompress this file.

Re: Unable to restore Backup after migration
The backups are not tar but compressed tar.gz files.
Can you check vesta backup log and report if it records any problems ?
eventually if all else fails, there is a custom backup script from @Dpeca which will work beautifully.
