Server boots into "Welcome to emergency mode"
Hello,
I have installed Centos 7 64bit on Vmware ESXI 5.5, everything was ok, then I installed VestaCP, after reboot it boots into "Welcome to emergency mode" on itself. I have tried reinstalled it several times, but the result is same. Could you please help me to solve this issue?
# Download installation script

# Run it
bash vst-install.sh --nginx yes --apache yes --phpfpm no --named no --remi yes --vsftpd yes --proftpd no --iptables yes --fail2ban yes --quota yes --exim yes --dovecot yes --spamassassin yes --clamav yes --mysql yes --postgresql yes --hostname panel.domain.com --email [email protected] --password 123456

Emergency mode means kernel unable to load things. Before installation update the system and kernel, reboot it. After that install Vistacp and then reboot again..

Re: Server boots into "Welcome to emergency mode"
Did you install VestaCP with Quota support?? This has happened to me 3-4 times because if Quota enabled, VestaCP makes an entry in /etc/fstab. Boot to emergency mode and comment the quota line in the end and reboot. You should be good
Re: Server boots into "Welcome to emergency mode"
I followed the instruction (Commenting the line ) server booted properly but can't start the VestaCP. Really worried about the "Emergency Mode" after restart the machine containing VestaCP. Anyone can help me Fix/Avoid this issue??mehargags wrote:Did you install VestaCP with Quota support?? This has happened to me 3-4 times because if Quota enabled, VestaCP makes an entry in /etc/fstab.
