recently i tried to upgrade php from 5.4 to 5.6 and i crashed by website. so i tried v-restore-user admin admin.2014-01-14.tar and the restore process is started and first it restored the web folders and it is running for more than 24 hours and it has not yet finished and i can see the ram is being used heavily and it is dropping slowly and now it is using 900mb ram but still it have not restored the database or website . i dont how to find whether restore is running or how much it is completed.

my backup tar file size is 3.9gb

please help me what should i do do i have to rerun the restore.

if your website crashed because you've updated your php version, a restore of a vestacp backup will not help. you have to check your website, maybe you have problems with the new php version... check your logs.
