Hey everyone, today I did
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

This installed an update for Vesta CP. However, I can access all of my websites perfectly fine, but I can't access the Vesta Control Panel when I go to https://ipaddress.com:8083

I solved this problem doing the following steps. I just don't know why it was necessary to have to edit a configuration file. By the way, I am using Debian Jessie. I no longer get the 530 error logins when I make new FTP accounts!

I just managed to fix this problem. This problem started to happen when I had changed the password of phpmyadmin. All I had to do was do nano /usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf

From there I just deleted the old password, and updated with my new one. I hope this thread helps anyone who is having this ...

So on Vesta CP I went to DB to create a new database. However, when I try to create a database, I get an error that says "Error: Connection to localhost failed"
