I really hope for a fix that'll solve this issue!

I can hide panel exposure on my personal host, but I think for who can't...

Re: Cannot open port from outside

Hi
Can you check on provider web panel, if there is a section regarding firewall rules?

Probably you must add a rule to open 8091 TCP, as can be seen there:

Re: Cannot open port from outside

We haven't yet magical sphere, so we cannot know where is your server and clients. So explain if all devices are placed on a single lan (same subnet?) or if server is behind a nat, dmz, different vlan, ecc... Or if the server is anywhere on internet with public IP (or natted) and all clients are in ...

Re: apache process user/group is www-data and not user - bug or intended?

Your files have right ownership, so I'm pretty sure that php is run as user.

Imho you are seeying webserver processes, that always run as default webserver user.
Only php processes runs with proper user.

If you can paste an anonymized excerpt of a "ps auxf", we can see in detail!

Re: Web Cluster

Meh, imho a proper web cluster will require an infrastructure with at least: -HA web servers -an HA shared storage for web documents -a shared system for sessions -an HA database -possibly an HA load balancer -networking (vlans, qos, rate limit, ip address management) -centralized logs I hope that o...

I think too that it can be easily implemented via web interface, but actually it is yet easy to do it, with a little tippity tap via ssh:

Re: apache process user/group is www-data and not user - bug or intendet?

I think that in default case, apache will run php as a module, so processes will be executed with webserver user/group. This is the simpler webserver configuration, but with various drawbacks, for example, webserver user/group ownership on files created by webserver, poor process isolation, shared s...

Re: awstats = no permition

Hi,
months ago, I suffered too regarding this problem.

I fixed it by adding this on root crontabs:

# fix stats permissions
10 4 * * * chmod u+x /home/*/web/*/stats/

not a clean thing, but worked for me ;)
