This error can happen when backup fail You need know why backup fails, maybe you not have enough disk space ? This also can happen when you have a broken database, if vesta cant dump a database fail sometimes can fail My recomendations is, run backup from CLI for each user, and check what is the er...

Backup creates tmp.xxx file until full disk
I tried implementing this fix. https://github.com/serghey-rodin/vesta/pull/1142#issuecomment-368680462 However it has not worked. I have to log in everyday delete the tmp.xxx file in /backup.
