Re: Tutorial: setup mail server the right way
Did you install Modoboa "on top of" Vesta? Can users still create email accounts within Vesta for them to become visible for administration within Modoboa? This would be ideal for me. If you just created a new VPS for your email server outside of Vesta, this kind of defeats the purpose of Vesta bei...

Original IP Fix
I am running the latest Vesta with Wordpress and MyBB. MyBB has an option for Strict User Address which fixed the user IP showing as the server, but no such option exists in Wordpress. I can't find a plugin either. I would like to resolve this so I can see what IP spammers are using and attempt to b...

Re: Disable nginx Reverse Proxy
Thank you for the extra info.
So is it recommended I turn off the reverse proxy through my hosts control panel and just use nginx, or should I just leave them both on?

Re: Disable nginx Reverse Proxy
I was able to resolve the issue but using a strict IP check in the forums. It was a setting that was disabled and never needed to be on before but I guess it's needed now.

Disable nginx Reverse Proxy
I recently migrated my site from an Ubuntu 14.04 installation with apache2 to an Ubuntu 16.04 installation with apache2 + nginx. Aside from a few hiccups everything seemed to be working fine until I realized no one could register on my forums because "there has already been a new registration from y...

Re: SOCKS5 Problem
That's what I think too, but I find it odd it started happening immediately after we moved to a new server with the nginx configuration.skurudo wrote:I think it's SOCKS5 proxy side problem and should be tested from there.
I appreciate your input. Thank you.

SOCKS5 Problem
A couple weeks ago I moved my apache2 site to a new server, upgrading from Ubuntu 14.04 and PHP5 to Ubuntu 16.04 and PHP7. I used VestaCP to handle the install of apache as well as nginx, which wasn't installed on the previous server. Except for nginx and the updated OS and PHP, everything is virtua...

Re: Increase upload_max_filesize
So it turns out it actually IS working, just not on one site for some reason. Basically, I have one domain and two subdomains set up on one users account. Both subdomains are picking up the configuration for the upload_max_filesize, but the main domain isn't. I guess I'll have to do some more digging.

Increase upload_max_filesize
I'm trying to increase the upload_max_filesize from 2M to 10M, however I'm struggling to do it. I'm running the latest versions of Ubuntu 16.04 and PHP7. I've tried modifying the php.ini file in /etc/php/7.0/apache2/ as well as the apache2.conf file in the users conf folder. I've even tried modifyin...
