Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Hi,

I've been using Vestacp for quite some time and installed SSL certificates using Let's Encrypt for about 15 domains with only occasional problems. However, today I got back a strange error message when I tried to use let's encrypt inside the vesta control panel:

"Error: /"

That is all ...

Me too, but I'm trying to install it on Ubuntu 14.04 ... when can we begin new installs? I had one server that was hacked (my other vesta servers, luckily, are ok/good) ... but I had two websites on the other: so I would like to reinstall vesta as soon as possible!

FIXED MY OWN PROBLEM:

This is caused by the STRICT_TRANS_TABLES SQL mode.

Open phpmyadmin and goto More Tab and select Variables submenu. Scroll down to find sql mode. Edit sql mode and remove STRICT_TRANS_TABLES Save it.

The control panel is installed and working just fine for creating domains and with the SSL certificates as well. I have been using vesta for about 1.5 years with very little problem.

However, I just installed a new instance of vesta yesterday and now I can not insert new records into my mysql ...

Hi guys, I made the video below after following the instructions on this bulletin board regarding how to install an ssl certificate (Letsencrypt) on the control panel itself (not just an ssl certificate on an individual domain set up within the GUI).
