Re: Bot attack
I would also like to add, in fairness to vestacp, this control panel has nothing to do with hackers. In regards to your wordpress site, have you ever heard of Wordfence security? Might i suggest you learn to harden your wordpress installations so they dont get hacked so easily by brute force attacks...

Re: Statement and Goodbye
What concerns me is that very soon after an enormous security hack that almost destroyed everything, we for almost 12 months now have seen no updates? Prior to that we were seeing 2 per year.
That is not a good indicator of regular activity from the developers.

Re: Gmail/Outlook.com All emails marked as Spam
I am not using vesta currently, however i have had this problem with other control panels. My understanding is that the following issues often cause the problem... 1. if you use hostname.fqdn for the mx record value then it must match the mail server hostname.fqdn that is sending the mail and not ma...

Re: Vesta cp use for production server.
I dont think that the cpanel issue is really a deal breaker...Vestacp is a nice looking interface that is easy to use. Most people dont use a fraction of cpanel capabilities any way, nor would they have a clue what most of all that functionality does either. You just need to use some clever marketin...

Re: Host websites as vesta
The simplest way u can think to do this is to make backup copies of your existing public html directories for the virtual hosts you have already setup. Delete everything of your dedicated server...ie reformat it's drive. Start from scratch...It's the only way. I don't know of any control panels that...

Oh ok. No worries thanks for that.
Perhaps this could be a feature request for future versions as other control panels have this for the admin interface (ie Virtualmin uses it).

Re: I can access CP via IP, can't access via domain
If you log into vesta via IP address, access the server logs.
They should provide some clarity on the problem. Perhaps post the errors so someone can read them to help you more specifically.

Re: Can't install Wordpress - "The site is experiencing technical difficulties."
First thing, Use mxtoolbox.com and check your dns is resolving for your domain. You can also check subdomains...ie hostname.domain.com (ie server1.your domain.com) If that is resolving, Check your vestacp logs...almost always the logs will either provide the answer or at least hint at likely culprits.

Re: mysql crash every nights
I too have begun experiencing this issue. The Vesta installation doing it has been running fine for about a month...Then out of the blue, it has also started doing this. I have a 1cpu 1gb ram system running a single small WordPress site. Almost daily now mariadb is suddenly crashing. Looking at the ...
