We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.

Re: Future OS Compatibility
Being honest, just let go. You have abandoned for years this project just to start again, what guarantee us this time around you will keep on updating? Just close and join hestiacp or myvestcp team to keep improving them instead of having 3 different panels being maintained with the same core.

Re: Lets Encypt Support
Please guys, note that vestacp is abandoned and there are huge security issues right now. I'd recommend switching to myvestacp (https://myvestacp.com/) or hestiacp (https://hestiacp.com), both vestacp forks. MyVestaCP sticked more to the original vestacp but with more security and hestiacp focused o...

Re: DNS_CLUSTER not enabled
I'd suggest to install https://www.myvestacp.com/ or https://hestiacp.com/ both vestacp forks, vestacp is abandoned and hence why you are expericing those issues, not to mention it has a lot of security flaws right now.

Please, note that vestacp is abandoned and there are huge security issues right now. I'd recommend switching to myvestacp or hestiacp, both vestacp forks. MyVestaCP sticked more to the original vestacp but with more security and hestiacp focused on more features and security as well.

Guys, Vesta is just too buggy, switch to myvestacp or hesticacp (both forks from vesta). Otherwise you may be getting hacked sooner or later

Re: Ubuntu Server

Re: Split backup files
Just move to MyVestaCP or HestiaCP, Vesta is fully of security bugs and sooner or later you're more likely getting hacked.

Re: Install on unclean server
I would not recommend installing Vesta in a non-clean server, however, if you do it, please do not install Vesta, is not updated and has been ages since last time it was updated. You can take a look at these forks: https://www.myvestacp.com/ and https://hestiacp.com/. MyVestaCP is just like Vesta, u...

Vesta Security issue: hacked server
My server was hacked due to a security issue with Vesta and the lack of updates, the company in which I had the server with had to shut down the server, please, if you are using Vesta, switch for good. I switched to HestiaCP (https://hestiacp.com/) a fork of Vesta which more features and updates but...

Re: All istes are Under Construction
Vesta has already too many bugs, I would recommend switching to myvesta or hestia, both forks of Vesta.
