Re: Can't connect to MySQL localhost (how to)
Oops. I just saw your reply, but I think I fixed it. 'mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &' was giving me an error too, so i think I fixed it this way: $ /etc/init.d/mysql stop $ mkdir -p /var/run/mysqld $ chown mysql:mysql /var/run/mysqld $ mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables & mysql -u root; mysql> FLUSH...

Re: Cloudflare + SSL and VestaCP
So it seems it was an issue on Cloudflare's end, probably a complication from moving the site off a hosting partner to my own private VPS. I contacted Cloudflare and they did something to fix it. So adding Cloudflare seems to be as easy as: 1. Secure site with Let's Encrypt. 2. Set up Cloudflare and...

Re: Change Link to PhpMyAdmin (nginx, php-fpm)
That field doesn't seem to do anything for me. I can still access phpmyadmin at /phpmyadmin/ after changing it.
Did anyone else find an answer for nginx?

Re: Can't connect to MySQL localhost (how to)
I cannot get this to work. Ubuntu 16.04. There is no /etc/init.d/mysqld. /etc/init.d/mysql stop gives an error. root@vps:~# /etc/init.d/mysqld stop -bash: /etc/init.d/mysqld: No such file or directory root@vps:~# /etc/init.d/mysql stop [ ok ] Stopping mysql (via systemctl): mysql.service. root@vps:~...

Re: Can't get Nginx templates to work
Hmm, interesting. I don't have a "Proxy Supprot NGINX" section. I have a "Web Template NGINX" and "Backend Template PHP-FPM" section. Using Vesta v0.9.8-17. I have found though, I can modify templates in the /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/nginx/php-fpm/ directory and select them from the "Web T...

Cloudflare + SSL and VestaCP
I've spent hours reading posts, Googling, and trying different things, but I can't seem to get my website to work with Cloudflare under HTTPS. Does anyone have this setup working? What did you do? Website worked fine with Let's Encrypt and no Cloudflare. When I changed the name servers on the domain...

Re: Can't get Nginx templates to work
Yes, restarted vesta several times.
It looks like it's showing templates form the nginx/php-fpm directory above and not the nginx/ directory now that I look at it.

Can't get Nginx templates to work
I've tried following the documentation to add a template for force https , but there is no where under web or packages to select the force-https template. Yes, I restarted nginx and the server several times. I don't see any drop down menu for any of these templates in Vesta CP anywhere. New install,...
