Re: VestaCP Alternative
I really don't know what's going on with Vestacp's developers that they wanted to go on their separate ways and fork it. However, Hestiacp has been around and now my production panel. What I like about it is its php selector and you are able to install php modules manually. Other than that, I think ...

Re: I need to restart web server via cron
Hi, sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-restart-web I'm not sure what that is supposed to do? For "sudo service httpd restart", what is the exact cron you are using? I would set a custom mailto for that command - something like: MAILTO=your-info-email@domain.com @daily sudo service httpd restart Then when ...

I need to restart web server via cron
Hi,
For some reason, these don't work via cron and even in crontab via root
sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-restart-web
sudo service httpd restart
But if I manually run them on ssh, they work.
What am I missing?

Server Tab list is empty
Hi, So my site has been down for a couple of days that I did not notice. Upon checking, the disk is full. And the cause is in the backup folder Last good backup was july 4. And there is a lot of tmp.**** folders which eats most of the disk resource. I only configured 3 backups total. Therefore, old ...

Re: Which SSL certificate is the best
I think it is about the warranty.
Some are cheap, and some are expensive.
More expensive, higher warranty.

Re: Brute force on email
I have the equal problem right now, from 4 hour ago! If the IP address was automatically banned by fail2ban, it will be deleted after a few minutes. So what I did is I just manually added this IP address, 139.28.174.0/24, so he is permanently banned. But it begs the question, why are we getting thi...

Brute force on email
Hi, Is anyone here also experiencing a brute force attack with your emails? I actually noticed this months before as I see 139.28.174.155 in the fail2ban list under MAIL. The weird part is that it exists to every vestacp's I have. So I think this is not an isolated attack. You also may want to check...
