Re: VestaCP + Mattermost IP:Port isn't working

I thought I'd do a little necromancing here since I recently fired up mattermost on my vestacp install. 1. add your URL for mattermost in the vestacp panel 2. create a database for mattermost 3. follow the instructions for installing mattermost here (it's dead simple in comparison to similar platfor...

Softaculous cron question

I realize that Softaculous helps fund this project, however I have an older server where I wanted to turn off Softaculous completely until we get migrated over to newer equipment. I guess my issue is that there's still an active cron job that runs at: /usr/local/vesta/softaculous/cron.php The cron c...

Softaculous Spam

So the daily spam I'm getting from Softaculous about buying a license is a little much. I was forced to turn off autoupdates in my Vesta panel. I poked around in the Softaculous settings a bit. Is there any other way to prevent their updates or the output without messing with core?

Re: SMTP server login fails - passwd-file

I'm going to respond to this because I ran into the same issue after a recent Dovecot upgrade. If you choose to rebuild the certificate, the file permissions need touched. The following command fixed this issue for me.

Code: Select all

chmod 640 /usr/local/vesta/ssl/*
