If you email looks like spam, i.e. one line of text with a dubious subject it will get rejected by Gmail & hotmail etc, copy/past a whole web page into the body of the email, makes it look like a newsletter, lots of html etc, and give it a sensible subject, sounds silly but don't use the word 'test'

Do you have an SSL cert on the server? if so it must contain both the domain and the mail domain, e.g. mydomian.com & mail.mydomain.com
