Re: Apache on port 8081, nginx connecting to 8080

Looking in ~/conf/web I can see .conf files with entries like:

Code: Select all

<VirtualHost XX.XX.XX.XX:8080>
And yet apache is not listening on 8080. Do you have any idea how i find out why?

Thanks,
Justin

Re: Apache on port 8081, nginx connecting to 8080

Further, I can see that HTTPS requests should be forwarded to apache at port 8443, but it is not listening there either...

Also, my /etc/apache2/ports.conf file is empty (except "# Powered by vesta"). Should there be something here?

Re: Apache on port 8081, nginx connecting to 8080

Hi,

Thanks for the help!

I ran

Code: Select all

for user in $(v-list-sys-users plain); do v-rebuild-web-domains $user; done
and it seemed to complete OK, but it looks like apache is still listening on 8081, and nginx is trying to connect to 8080

Apache on port 8081, nginx connecting to 8080

Hi, This morning, all my websites are down. On my server, i have run netstat -tulpn And I can see a single entry for apache, suggesting its listening on port 8081: tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8081 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 8752/apache2 In my web log / errorlog, i can see many errors like: connect() failed (111: Connec...

Re: Softaculous showing blank page

Running:

/usr/local/vesta/php/bin/php /usr/local/vesta/softaculous/cli.php --repair

gives me:

/usr/local/vesta/softaculous/tmp/wMiRo/De8uc.c:1:19: fatal error: stdio.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

Re: Change Link to PhpMyAdmin (nginx, php-fpm)

EDIT: this link fixed it for me https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5264 Hi, I have tried both suggestions in this thread (nano /etc/nginx/conf.d/phpmyadmin.inc and server -> configure -> DB -> phpMyAdmin URL), but neither made a change. Can someone please help me change the URL for phpmy...

Move site between users - Softaculous issues

Hi,

I have moved a site from one user to another with the built in script, but this change is not reflected in Softaculous. Could this be added in the future?

Thanks,
Justin

Define port in Backup hostname

Hi,

I have my FTP server on a non-standard port. If i specify the hostname as example.com:12345 I get "invalid host format".

Please can a "port" field be added, or the validation on the hostname field changed to allow ports to be defined there?

Many thanks!
