Re: SMTP/IMAP issue
I haven't implemented your regexes yet, but I'm pretty confident they will work. I see in my Dovecot logs the following: Jan 08 12:17:04 imap-login: Info: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, lip=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, session=<VV3kvfFC6Eb1> Jan 08 12:17:04 imap-login: ...

Re: phpMyAdmin version 5?
Visit https://www.phpmyadmin.net/downloads/ and get the latest version. Then just overwrite the server files in /usr/share/phpmyadmin directly (Ubuntu/Debian) with the latest version. That's probably the most straightforward way to update. Just be sure to first take a backup of /usr/share/phpmyadmin...

Re: HOW TO: RSPAMD integration
All, You can easily add RSPAMD as the spam system service so it shows up in the Server tab like so: https://i.imgur.com/Kwl6oIj.png Simply edit /usr/local/vesta/conf/vesta.conf from: ANTISPAM_SYSTEM='spamassasin' to: ANTISPAM_SYSTEM='rspamd' Then restart the vesta service: service vesta restart

Re: Fail2ban dovecot rule need, please
I couldn't find any regex's on the internet that worked for me, so I went and wrote my own. Just add this line to your etc/fail2ban/filter.d/dovecot.conf: ^%(__prefix_line)sauth: Error: passwd-file\(.*\,<HOST>\)\: stat\(.*\) failed: No such file or directory\s$ Here's the results of my regex test: r...

Re: Suggested fail2ban improvement.
Fantastic suggestion. Trying to bolster my firewall/intrusion prevention so I implemented this and I already have several repeat offenders in my ban list. Would it be possible to use the "port=" argument in fail2ban "jail.local" to pass the ports so you don't need to create a new action.d file "vest...

Re: Tutorial: setup mail server the right way
Did you install Modoboa "on top of" Vesta? Can users still create email accounts within Vesta for them to become visible for administration within Modoboa? This would be ideal for me. If you just created a new VPS for your email server outside of Vesta, this kind of defeats the purpose of Vesta bein...
