Even if It's a quite odd solution: you should try installing VestaCP without including IP-Tables and use it "canonically" without the panel. Have you encountered this issue with the last version of VestaCP? How did this error emerge? And when? Can u provide more details? Did you get errors or warnin...

[BUG] yum update failed installing Vesta on Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS
In Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS I get "yum update failed" when installing VestaCP... ...and I do not understand why. (I mean, I'm not on CentOS) I'm on a clean build, the only things I've done after installing the OS are "sudo apt-get update", "sudo apt-get upgrade" and "do-release-upgrade". bash vst-install....
