Re: admin→backup failed Can't connect to mysql server localh
The mysql tends to stop on vesta installations on digital ocean ubuntu droplets at least. This causes a user backup to fail when trying to get the databases for the backup. Take a look at Vesta and Digital Ocean (MySQL stops frequently) https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5222 for a poss...

Re: admin→backup failed Can't connect to mysql server localh
Hmm, this is getting weirder. The same VM, still no changes made to it from clean build (other than those above) and now I got this error by email this morning: /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-vesta-all: line 13: /func/main.sh: No such file or directory /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-vesta-all:...

Re: Questions, Vestacp with CloudFlare settings.
I remember Graham wrote a script to incorporate CloudFlare, but he never released it. He was going to email it to me, but i guess he's been busy. Hi Nightstryke, I though't I'd sent over the php class and a sample script that I used, didn't you get it? My project was a central hub server managing m...

Re: admin→backup failed Can't connect to mysql server localh
Just to add, I managed to run the failed task successfully directly from the server command line:
sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue disk
sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue disk

Re: admin→backup failed Can't connect to mysql server localh
I'm not sure if this is related but I got another error this morning. I have made no changes to the server since my post yesterday. Error: Connection failed /usr/local/vesta/func/main.sh: line 55: [: 15 2014-05-27 02:15:01 v-update-database-disk admin admin_default : integer expression expected I ju...

Re: Vhost to Subdirectory
I just spotted there's also a reference to the web root in nginx.conf in the same directory: location / { proxy_pass http://95.85.56.225:8080; location ~* ^.+\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|png|ico|svg|css|zip|tgz|gz|rar|bz2|exe|pdf|doc|xls|ppt|txt|odt|ods|odp|odf|tar|bmp|rtf|js|mp3|avi|mpeg|flv|htm$ root /home/adm...

Re: Vhost to Subdirectory
I'm trying to work this out myself. I think the answer lies in the .conf files for your hosting account: /home/username/conf/web in the apache2.conf file you'll see a section like this: <Directory /home/admin/web/yourdomain.com/public_html> AllowOverride All Options +Includes -Indexes +ExecCGI </Dir...

Re: Admin API Problems

I'll like to know if I can do email creation, creation of ftp account, and setting of MX records from the API. Thanks in advance. T...
